So Im a noob. I dunno if my post breaks any rules, so sorry if it does

I wanna buy a Wii, the shop says its a softmod....

Can it play pirated games? And I heard there's something called a region lock, what is it? Is my Wii gonna be affected?

first of we dont condone piracy lol honestly

2nd of all is the shop in question charging alot extra for this softmod install??

3rd...yes you can play copies of games you legally own with a softmod.. from any region.

4th..jus buy a retail wii from a normal shop and do it yourself its all part of the fun.

if games are out of your country use (wii brick blocker) just in case it has an update then you'll be fine

Try going onto Wiibrew, just google Wiibrew and search for it there
