I've installed what I believe I need to make the games run.

I've got the latest versions of the 3 major USB loaders. (As of yesterday at least)
DML 1.4b installed.
I've got the .iso files (compressed) in the games folder on my SD card. Now I know the .iso works because I had everything working with SWISS before I started trying to get DML to work.

And a wii retail game in the drive. I've read this may or may not be needed?

Any ideas?

you should compress the iso with either Discex or GCReEx get them from DML download site: http://code.google.com/p/diosmioslite/downloads/list
the games folder should have the games folders obtained by using one of the above mentioned utilities.
try my DML booter channel and see if games show or not.
You can also get all DML needed stuff and tools from
Good luck :)

He can get DML from google code

http://code.google.com/p/diosmioslite/downloads/detail?name=diosmioslitesv1.4b.wad&can=2&q=

your linking to a personal filehoster which includes copyright material again

I would personally only link to original sources before a warning is issued

I reinstalled the DML 1.4b wad and the channel wad. I've extracted the iso and compressed it like one is suppose to.

I ran the DML channel, it finds the game on my sd card. After pressing 'A', it sits there a while, then gives a dump if I don't have a disc in.

If I have a Wii disc in, it sits and shows a graphic with GCLoader 0.4 (May 7 2012), Loading apploader ...
If I have a GC disc in, it sits and shows the same graphic as before, but then eventually loads the GC game from disc, not the one I selected from the DML channel.

I had the same problem with DML 1.4b so i installed a MOD version i got it from here

You can get the latest DML version "DML59mod.rar" from here: http://www.mediafire...qk17b9hubiki4v7
Extract and run "create_wad.bat" to get the latest DMLr59mod[MIOS-v10].wad which can be installed with a wad manager

PS: you can still use this pack for future releases as well by just replacing the file dml.elf and re-creating the wad

( Thanks Damysteryman for the modified elf & Thanks Fix94 for making this handy tool)
I had the install setup for MY sd card so i just replaced the DML.elf file in the DML folder on the root of my sd card with the 1 i got from the DMLr59mod download

After installing that wad, and then selecting a game either through that channel given to me before or through Wiiflow, the wii just turns off... red light off.

From your test results I can tell that DML is not detecting the games on your SD.
Just to make sure, do you have a wii with 4 Gamecube ports and 2 Memory card slots on the side or a new one with no gamecube support?
If you have GC support then most probably its your SD card. Make sure it's formatted in FAT32 with 64 cluster size or just try another one.

Yeah it's an oldie, I bought it not long after they came out in the UK. Early 2007.

I've tried to different makes of SDHC one is class 4 and the other is class 6. Both formatted to FAT32 64K Clusters. Same problem. Other things have worked fine on them, so I'm unsure why it doesn't work. I've had emus / scummvm loading from them etc, until I pushed all that on to the HDD.

I remember I had no luck with DML before, it's why I went across to SWISS. But since Wiiflow etc are now using it, I thought I'd give it ago.

It might be worth trying out my little ISO tool? http://gcit.wiibackupmanager.co.uk. themanuel told me that GCReEx doesn't extract some ISOs very well and some files are missing. I've no idea what your real problem is, but the tool is there if you need it anyway.

I've been using GCIT and DML booter for testing on a 32GB Class 10 Micro SD card formatted as FAT32 with 64KB clusters. Any game I've tried works as well as can be expected. No lag, stuttering or crashing. I haven't needed a disc in the drive either. Audio streaming games need to be aligned to 32KB, but others work with the GCIT default settings.

Sadly it still doesn't work for me. Seems it might be coz I've got two 4GB cards. They don't use 64K clusters. I thought they did, but they don't.

It seems it's down to my 4GB card not being up to scratch. I've messed around with the 8GB card I normally have in my phone, and it works on that. I'm gonna have to splash out and get a larger card at some point. Thanks for your help!

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.
