Gaming Half Life 1 Anthology

all right...now that I got an eeePC I wanted to finally play through half life 1 + the addons...I bought the anthology box some times ago, but it just won't run without a internet connection...if I'm at home I've got a internet connection but not on the go...

anyone knows some help? :/

P.S.: How can I tell CS 1.6 it shall run on 2560*1024?

(2*17" monitors xD yeah had a spare one)

...why would you run a game across two monitors?

just because it will be fun to have CS on that big screen

(nah I won't buy a bigger monitor if I can stick those 2 17" monitors together (they are exactly the same build so they stick perfectly together) )

I tried steam in offline mode back then when I ought the anthology, but I think I remember it hasn't worked...I may try it again...thanks for your tip!
