Checked Batman: Return of the Joker. Game runs beautifully. However save states do not work. When you exit the game the little save state box doesn't appear.
ok that's what is happening to me also. btw you need to go into options and disable overscan cropping. I noticed on the title screen text at bottom being cut off

good call, will do that.

Did it, makes a big difference, looks better now. Wish i knew how to fix the save state thing.

I hope that our friend Cluster can see these issues and resolve them! :-)
He is watching (and translating) right @Cluster

definitely some weird bugs. Like right now i lost all system sound. Not even the GUI sound. Did 2 flashes. Not sure what to try now, dont want to lose my build - took a ton of work today :)

these flashes take too much damn time :) if anyone has questions, concerns, needs help PM on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/AnthMosk/

DAMN :( even tried custom command line arguments and Batman: ROJ still wont do a save state. Wish i could figure out how @Cluster implemented this for other RA cores so i could take a shot at doing it for the NES cores.

/bin/nes /usr/share/games/nes/kachikachi/CLV-H-VBBGK/CLV-H-VBBGK.nes

The sources for the clover integration are in the retroarch-clover git and it looks like its handling problem NES games a little differently to FDS games (but same emulator core). Try some FDS games and see if the clover integration (save states etc) works there.

Edit: Actually just while I was looking there was another commit. Just wait until it gets released, there's not much point trying to troubleshoot or bugfix it while it's still getting changed all the time.

Here is the video. I making more test about use.

About the sort of folders, the issue isn't from hakchi2. The issue come from me. I don't have the sort in alphabetical order.

Rgs.

Very nice. Can games and folders be organized by release date, or just alphabetically?

wait is 2.12 released? i thought the thread died cos i wasnt getting notifications from the thread

so if 2.12 is up whats our storage limit :)

Think something is going on with saves for games that have passwords @Cluster SEGA games like Sonic Series are creating and loading save states perfectly. Games like Road Rash 2 wont create a save state. Batman Return of the Joker (NES) doesnt create a save state either and has password saves.

Probably you are doing this already, but you should inform Cluster about all these bugs. It will only help to make a more stable build. If necessary, I can wait a few days longer with the knowledge that as many bugs as possible have been addressed.

I do that now. I think is a little issue that can be solved.

Latest info from our hero Cluster in the Hakchi Retro GIT:

### RetroArch mod for hakchi ###

This is hakchi/hakchi2 module which adds the RetroArch emulator to your NES Mini.

It will automatically detect unsupported NES games and run them instead of the default emulator. Save states will work as usual.

It can also run games for other consoles. This pack already contains the following cores:
- fceumm (NES, many mappers, UNIF support)
- nestopia (NES, FDS)
- snes9x2010 (SNES)
- gambatte_libretro (GB, GBC)
- mednafen_gba (GBA)
- genesis_plus_gx (SMS/Genesis/MD)
- mupen64plus (N64)

Available executables and arguments:

- retroarch-clover <core> <rom> <clover_args>
runs RetroArch with specified core,
designed for executing from clover shell,
so it parses all clover arguments (saves, aspect ratio, etc.)
- /bin/gb <rom> <clover_args>
runs "gambatte" core
- /bin/md <rom> <clover_args>
runs "genesis_plus_gx" core
- /bin/nes <rom> <clover_args>
runs "fceumm" core
- /bin/sms <rom> <clover_args>
runs "emux_sms" core
- /bin/snes <rom> <clover_args>
runs "snes9x2010" core
- /bin/n64 <rom> <clover_args>
runs "mupen64plus" core
- /bin/retroarch-mini [core] [rom] [args]
runs RetroArch directly, without clover intergration
- /bin/retroarch
RetroArch itself

Sometimes default emulator of NES Mini is not working with some games when it should. So you can just add "--retroarch" command line argument to use RetroArch.

Known issues:
- Nintendo 64 save-states are not working, battery backup working fine
- Default CRT filter is not working, scanlines shader added instead but it's not working with all systems.
- It's recommended to turn your NES Mini off from shell, not during game

All the same that mini NES classic. Amazing!

Problem I have now, is that hakchi sorts games alphabetically in the folders. I can go into each folder and sort each folder by release date, but the folders are still each alphabetical. If it can all be done by release date, that would be a dream come true.

Anyone out there have problems using a Wii Classic pro controller. Picked one up and I get nothing from it. From what I can tell it's an official controller. Has the Wii logo on the front, Nintendo logo "etched" on the back. The plug says "Nintendo".

Not sure what the problem might be, but it does absolutely nothing.
