Homebrew Hacking Miiverse to allow offline screenshot?

I noticed that the Miiverse applet lets you keep up to 3 screenshots if you run it offline - even now that Miiverse's closed. Would it be possible to increase the number of screenshots it can keep, or to convert those screens into images on SD card?
