I decided after a few months of it collecting digital dust on my Vita to pick up Gundam Breaker 3 again. After playing it for a week straight the game started to develop an evident tediousness in farming; looking for cube parts in specific stages and them not dropping, always selling parts because I get too many unneeded ones after hours of repeating the same stages, getting washed in NewType because my equipment isn't all that viable in comparison to the Extreme difficulty.

So after combing this board and going through the motions of realizing that rincheat is no longer viable and that GoHANmen seems to be the only means of hacking outside of hex editing, I wanted to give it a shot at learning how to hack. This game is one of the most requested for modifications and hacks, but with very outdated and little attention.

I downloaded GoHANmen and was easily able to figure out how to edit my GP, but stopped there, even though I was sure it's the same process for plastic. I'm not interested in plastic, I'm more interested in knowing what else is modifiable. I ignorantly tried to change my Melee DPS the same way I changed my GP, but that came back with 0 results. There obviously isn't some automated, given-right-to-you-with-no-effort hack that quite a few GB3 requesters are pinning for. My only request is for someone to give me the knowledge of how to work GoHANmem and figure out how to alter things like armor, boost, # of cubes, and possibly stats.

Boost and armor, I think, need pointer codes, and I don't know how to do those.
I've been using VitaCheat, since it has fuzzy search and if gohanmem does have it, I couldn't find it.
I managed to get my boost and my ranged capacity gauge to stay frozen, until i went to another area, then they changed.
I havent tried messing around with stats.
Cubes/element spheres all provide different boosts, different percentages... so I'm not sure how you'd increase one.
Plastic is easy to find, like you said. Same with Limit Breakers from the DLCs.

I found some version of the eboot that was modified on speedfly.cn for infinite armor, but it's not pcsh00208, and I don't like using modded executables since they tend to mess with other offsets.

A pointer code is some specific address deep in the game's memory, right? Since boost and armor change so often, pointers are necessary for pinning them down?

I didn't know about VitaCheat until just now, thank you.
I was thinking to increase stats, somehow looking at the overall percentage or number of stats like melee dps or ranged weapon dps, while assembling your gunpla, and fuzzy searching for the values. It would skip the need to search for cubes, I think. I'm new to all of this so I'm just throwing out ideas. If they are wrong then I'm not surprised.

I found that very same speedfly eboot and data. It's for the Chinese version of the game under PCSH00207. I was curious to know if it's possible to edit/read eboots to operate for different regions since you could reverse engineer saves to work on different regions. But that just maybe a misnomer on my part. Saves have nothing to do with eboots.

A pointer code, on PC anyway, is an address which will work across computers and reboots, as opposed to that specific instance. I believe the term applies here, but I'm not sure why I can't find it to begin with, as the only result is usually the one that is specific to that stage/level/area.

Your idea for stats is probably a step in the right direction. I noticed you can have... a value for a stat but the next step up isn't the next value, it's like hundreds away. It might be a percentage, with 255 being the max value or some such.

I have no idea if you can mod an eboot to be 'asian' instead of 'chinese'. I didn't even think there were ways to mod Vita eboots until I saw that one on speedfly.

I'm trying to mess with cubes now, since I just recalled how I found a bunch of my 3DS codes. Memory dumping... The game's memory ends around 93FFF according to gohanmem, so I'm dumping x81 to x93FFF with vitacheat before applying a cube and after. Then I'm going to compare the dumps with vbindiff and see if I can find the changed section that seems to control the cube I used.

I loathe this method of searching though since it can take hours for one code... dumping is slow and then the comparing can be slow too, since other addresses are always changing too.

Somewhat related, let me know if you find a cheat database somewhere. I know rincheat has one built into his github but it's not too big and the plugin doesn't work that well anymore... also between plugins the addresses seem to change a little, like the code I have for plastics moved from 832---- with gohanmem to 833---- with vitacheat... so databases will probably be plugin specific if any exist.
