I put the files into the meta folder as said but neither the background or icon appear,has the method changed or does it just not work?

Have you tried using a virtual console injector instead? If you are using a game from the eShop just do it with another game and then just replace the files on meta in the game you want to exchange those files

I'm doing this for some japanese DS games and I put in a few but some of them will show the icon and some just wont for some reason. And they're named the exact same way, is there a file size limit or something?? Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I also used the website link for turning the images into tga
