Gaming GTA IV multiplayer

Anyone got the multiplayer of GTA IV PC to work with an illegal copy of the game?
If not, will it ever be possible?
Will it be via cracked servers or Hamachi or maybe something else?

Get the game then immediately, it absolutely rocks!

Kinda weird that you have to start the game and then get the cellphone to get to the multiplayer though. I'm very curious if this will ever work via cracked servers .....
