are there any games like

Summon night twin age on the DS
tales of symphonia 2 on the WII

......

you may be wondering what those games have in common...besides being rpgs and...well...uh...being published .....and developed...by ahem...the same company...........right....yeah....anyway

the common link is those games are the main characters!
a boy and a girl round the same age, possibly romantically involved(just started summon night so please DON'T SPOIL ANYTHING for me)sharing amazing adventures and developing an awesome connection between them.

so,are there any games that its main characters have such chemistry?
it could be any game genre not just rpg

thanks!

JRPG's are all the same, the characters learn a little bit about the world, but a lot more about themselves.

hmm...for some reason, the final fantasy games didn't really draw my attention to the relationship between characters....except final fantasy 8

damn...I really have to play final fantasy X and X-2 it seems lol

anything else?it doesn't matter if it's for the wii or not

I think you are looking for Final Fantasy 8.

I didn't see much of a "love story" or whatever in FFX, it's nowhere near FF8. Then i would say comes FF9 before the others. Haven't played 13 yet.

I'm thinking of fragile dreams. Haven't played it, but hear it has a good boy-girl chemistry going on.

"Sakura Wars: so long my love" also bears mentioning. I've heard it describe as a dating sim, which may just be right. Once again, haven't played it...but if I understood it correctly, you get to flirt with a whole bunch of lovely girls, and if you do it correctly, they'll help better in the upcoming fights against bad guys.

Perhaps sin & punishment 2 qualifies as well. It has a boy and a girl of the same age doing some amazing adventuring thingy. Though the game is amazing, the plot is pretty much non-existing. As such, the characters are rather bland and lifeless, and IMO the chemistry is missing.

EDIT: as for the final fantasy games...aren't there FF games on the PSX that are playable on the wii through wiisx? (this list seems to indicate it just might)

hmmm... Link and Zelda in Spirit tracks. Seriously, body retrieval can forge a very, very strong link between 2 people... Or, well, a guy and a ghost...

I didn't feel anything special.
Most part of the game, the boy is alone (or doesn't develop any big relationship with anyone all game long).

RPG are usually based on the group relationship.

Hmm, for non RPG, I think about :
"Prince of Persia ~ Sand of time" could have a relationship in a funny way.
ICO (PS2) ?
