Gaming GoW3 backup

I'm on Waninkoko CFW 3.55 using MultiMan; I have made a successful rip of GoW3 and when i load it all it does is take me to the ps3 menu. I have tried direct loading as well as exiting to xmb and load my apps ps3game folder. the picture shows up and everything like it successfully mounted the game however all it does is put me back in the ps3menu, & yes i've tried patching using [R1] and loading both direct and by apps ps3game folder.

I can play GoW Collections just fine; what am i doing wrong with GoW3? thanks in advance

Have you tried with a Disc inside of the blu-ray drive?

nope LoL i'll try that but that would be pointless since i own the disc or will it not use the drive anymore but for verification of disc? i prefer hdd loading since it's easier then disc and less scratches.

When you have a disc(any game) inside the drive you choose the game from your internal/external then it'll swap the disc that is in your drive for the game. I've heard that it has better compatibility doing this method. Every backed up game I've played, I used this method and they all work.
