got the Xperia Play

so i plan on doing a review for it, but i'm gonna have to find a camera >.>

btw this is the verizon version with stock android, and i got it on thursday last week

anyway my weekend impressions are:

• Holy crap this thing runs beautifully smooth, i never would have guessed how nice it runs, runs better than my galaxy S device (fascinate) which i had rooted and had a fantastic community ROM on
• The screen is underwhelming, especially coming from my fascinate, which has one of the best screens around, there is also a dragging on the motion, which is hard to explain but looks very weird
• There is only one PS1 game that i can play at launch officially (crash bandicoot), however i can tell that it's running the game in an emulator, and it plays the game PERFECTLY
• This is a great device for emulators, all of yongzh's emulators can have the controls mapped to the xperia's controls (but no the touch pads)
• This phone is quite hefty and nice feeling, however the back cover gets hot during intense games and when your signal is weak, and that makes you hand kind of sweaty and with the phones heft it just feels like it's going to slip and it's incredibly uncomfortable
• A hard-gel case over the phone completely fixed all of my complaints with that
• the back cover i mentioned earlier feels like it's made out of dirt cheap plastic and taking the back cover off involves completely bending it up
• This phone can do some astounding graphics, Backstab, a game by gameloft made specific for the xperia play, looks stunning

and that's it, expect my review sometime in the summer, there might not be video but I really hope i can manage to get some

yes, it is moderately thick

it comes with gingerbread 2.3.2, the european version recently got upgraded to 2.3.3

What does this even mean? The battery life is great and it works wonderfully as a regular android phone
