The partition will be automatically recognized. I have a 320 gig external with a seperate partition, works perfectly.

yesterday i got one from a shop called Big W for $34 and when i got home, i backed up my mario power tennis (wii version) and i used usb loader and it copied in like 8 minutes. i used to use wii DVD dumper which took 9 hrs. o im so happy

AU$34 is pretty expensive, I bought mine for $25 and that was a few months ago!
