Hah your old PC sounds a LOT like mine. I upgraded substantially, like 6GB of ram and quad core substantially.
I swear the first thing I did was download steam, see Crysis on sale, and bought it within half an hour of starting up my new PC.

Upgrading feels so nice, especially when it's a pretty big jump.

I know the feeling... I received my new 1 TB HDD today, order yesterday. I love the huge amount of space I've got now, compared to my old 195 GB HDD.
It's also faster.

ahhh you must be happy....I remember when I upgraded from my HP pavilion DV9000 to my Asus G72gx (which I'm using right now) It was awesome

Gotta love new computers.... customizing everything for the first few days...and they're all shiney and new

I remember when I switched to my buggy Toshiba Satellite with 1Gb of RAM, 50Gb HDD, no wireless, 30 minutes battery and windows XP. Also, it had a crappy CPU(pentium I think) that ran at 1Ghz or maybe less. Then I got a Toshiba Qosmio for 1500$. 4Gb of RAM, Windows Vista, NVidia GeForce 9700M 512Mb GDDR3, Core 2 Duo at 2Ghz and dual HDD ports, one of which was used by a 320Gb HDD. I then added a 500Gb one. That was one heck of a jump, in both power and size xD. The thing weights over six pounds and is a good two inches thick. Can't really get that on my lap...

WHEN WILL CHRISTMAS COME!!! :'(

In:
6 days
or
144 hours
or
8640 minutes
or
518400 seconds

Yes, I am bored.

Mine is a 2000 MHz Dual-Core with 2GB of RAM and 64-bit Vista, and I still dislike it. I'm hoping to get a desktop pretty soon.
