so i think I've got the pieces and i need some opinions.

I'd honestly stay away from the latest AMD processors, they just aren't as good as their intel counterparts, maybe go with a 3570K with a cheaper gigabyte D3h board or similar instead of the AMD CPU and Asus board? I'm pretty sure that'd work out at a similar price and run cooler and more efficient. I'm sure others will give more input but that's my thoughts.

Also don't forget to pick a good case and PSU.

As others said, AMD isn't a good bang for the buck. Just get an Intel CPU.

well im trying to build a pc that can do games like battlefield , crysis 3 etc. at high spec and stay kinda cheap.

now when they say amd processors aren't as good as intel, i dont get it.
i mean efficiency i can see that, but are they really that much faster in a PRACTICAL sense?

The Intel Core i7 series is faster than anything AMD has. Intel's top-end processors have been faster than AMD's top-end processors for years.

However, not everybody needs the top speed, and on the lower ends AMD tends to be cheaper for similar power, so don't think that AMD's going under or anything.

Its not about speed, it's about strength in terms of number crunching.

As a rule of thumb, Intel is 20-40% stronger at relative price points. This means for CPU intensive tasks like encryption, compression, or emulation, Intel will get it done faster. However for balanced or GPU intensive tasks like gaming, AMD will hold up just as well for mid-ranged systems and below.

Bulldozer is a slightly different story. Bulldozer was just disappointing on every level, so there's no way to recommend them over an Intel Core i5-2500K or relative Ivy Bridge CPUs.
