Hacking Getting up to date

hello guys i have my wii here that i moded maybe a year ago now i am pretty out of the loop on updates and i don't understand everything to top it off. Now what i am looking for is how to obtain the info i need to let you guys know where i stand and what i need to find. Also i have a question is it possible to use usbloader with backups yet? I would very much like to run my games off my HD but only have iso's.

Oh yes, everything you require is here. Do some googling for WBFS Manager (just 1 option) for placing ISO's directly onto a HDD. USB LoaderGX and Wiiflow are a couple of loaders

awesome i just checked that out tyvm. Still tho i require help on getting up to date and what not with firmware and i think they are called ios? so i can play all/most games i have already installed some so basically what i am looking for is guidance on not messing anything up and getting up to date since i have already did stuff to it.
