Gaming Getting Theme Hospital to work on windows 7

I downloaded Theme Hospital yesterday and started encountering problems - upon installation I got the message that it was not compatible with windows 7, so tried entering the compatibility tab and playing around with the different OS's in the drop down list but none of them were found to be compatibile. Someone then suggested that I go through winmain to play the game which worked find until I realised it wouldn't save the game. I get the message 'error: game won't save' or something. Can someone please help?

Try running the game as administrator, right click and select "run as administrator."

Right, got the save thing sorted....but it keeps crashing like every 2 minutes. I downloaded dosbox but I couldn't figure it out. Will go find an easy tutorial
