Hacking Get console ID from nand

So I have a replacement case on my wii so I can't get my console ID for neek2o on modmii. I have dumped my setting.txt file but I can't figure out how to decrypt it.

Well looks like I don't need to get it. Mod mii says I can use my setting.txt from my dumped NAND.

Ah,you also have ModMii.
There it also appears your ID.

But good to hear you get it to work.

btw there is a setting.txt editor for windows (probably hard enough to find these days as most wii PC tools)

I just noticed that I don't have my console id. you can get it from a NAND dump? I don't seem to having the settings.txt either.

think the nand is encrypted, so you can't find it with a simple hex search.
