I was wondering if there would be less lag with different file locations.
Currently I'm using an SD adapter along with my Micro-SD card.
My Wii's SD port is acting funny when I try to use my USB adapter with my micro-SD card, but it works. I could also use my flash drive to store some videos if I choose not to use it for game storage.
Has anyone that has burned a disk and played it with Geexbox had noticeably less lag?
I downloaded a lot of remastered dbz episodes that I'm going to burn to a DVD.
I've been downloading some digitally remastered episodes of Dragonball Z
They are mkv format and are approximately 52MB per episode
I'm going to use ConvertXtoDVD to burn about 80 or so episodes to one disk to play them on a DVD player or Wii.
I wanted to know if anyone who has tried playing videos from an SD card/flash drive has done a comparison.
I don't want to format my flash drive again to not have a difference in playback fps... =/
