Homebrew Gecko Hook Types: I need some help.

Most know when trying to enable Ocariina codes, you must choose a hook type (i.e VBI, ossleephook, etc)
Can someone help me figure out what each represent? I use a GC controller in a classic controller adapter, so it's recognized as a classic controller. Help!!!

Not sure what game your playing on but the default hooktype is VBI so just use that, only use a different one if the game requires it.

Different hooktypes hook into different functions, not all games are made the same so some require a different hook.etc

i have no clue but i have ossleepthread on because i heard it was more reliable. this hook is also available on usbloadergx if you wanted to use cheats on your USB games.

But do hooks align with controllers?? What controller you use?

No, the hooks are what interrupts you want the cheat engine to "hook" in to in order to implement the patches. (VBI = vertical blank interrupt)
