I remember there was a group called 0rangeChicken releasing GBA wads and, as far as I've heard, their project is discontinued. Is there a pack I can download with all the GB/GBC/GBA wads they finished, or a tutorial to make my own?

Yep, linking to the WADs themselves is illegal, due to the fact that they contain ROMs. I don't know if a tutorial exists, as the way they were doing it involved custom tweaking of VBA GX on a per-game basis.

I think 0RANGECHICKEN has an IRC somewhere. Although, I don't know if it's still active though (as I rarely use that type of client).

All else I can say is that, google is your friend for this one. As no one can do anything here for you without at least breaching the rules.

So there's this new thing called google... ;)

0RANGECHICKEN were closed down and fined, their downloads were removed from their hompage and the page itself was closed. They currently reside on the EFNET network, you can *easily* find the correct channel by just googling it.

By the way, why bother with WAD's if there are emulators out there which work just fine?

If that's the case, wouldn't it be easier to link to a VBA GX tutorial and let OP find the ROMs on their own? ROMs are easier to find than the WADs he's searching for.

I'd rather have individual games as channels on my Wii, it looks cleaner and I don't have to keep my SD card in the Wii at all times.

I went to 0C EFNET IRC and... I don't think there's anything even there...
I found one download link, but it was on MegaUpload so that's pretty much a dead-end.

Would it be against the site rules for someone to link these wads to me by email or something?
... or is there infact a tutorial?

If it's at all possible, I don't know if you'd be able to ask for mirror links.

But... Like I said, google is your friend and there are links available to download them (through a certain way, which you'll be able to find out on your own with the right information at your fingertips).

The best alternative would be to either use vbagx or WiiMednafen.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
