Hacking Gateway future updates?

Actually, going after higher firmware shouldn't be their only goal. There's still a ton of 4.5 3DS getting sold everyday and I'm sure they want to kept their monopoly. They are probably excepting new clone to enter the scene and are probably also working on new feature to kept their edge.

That being said, I'm still surprised nobody created perfect GW clone yet. It's not like GW would have any legal option agains them anyway.

I just wonder why some people are having 'freeze issues'......slow or crappy microSD cards? I got one of the first Gateway cards shipped in USA and have played extensively on it since v1.0 and have never had freeze issues or even save or save corruption issues.

I've only had the freezing issues ever since upgrading to Omega. I've been using the same 32GB Class 10 Sandisk Ultra mSD since I got my Gateway last Christmas. I never had any issues with it before when running the 2.0 betas, and I spent more time playing it then than I have since Omega was released. The only thing I can think of that could be the source of the issue is exFAT formatting.

To the other people here who experienced freezing issues, what filesystem are you using with your Gateway, FAT32 or exFAT?

Using exFat class 4 Toshiba 32g sd card and never had any freezing except once when I dropped it. Never found rom loading times to be excessive long either...so dunno why people keep saying switch to class 10

Well, mine is a Class 10 UHS1 Sandisk 64gb. It's neither slow nor crappy.
