Hacking Gateway and system transfer

Just curious here. If I have my 3DS running the gateway firmware, but the street pass data and such I actually want is on the default firmware, is it possible to system transfer that info to another 3ds, then transfer it over to the gateway firmware the same way, or will something get hurt in the process?

Appreciate any help!

You could make a backup of your NAND, and then inject that into your emuNAND partition using emuNAND tool/

You can't System transfer your sysNAND since you'd have to update it.
