Hacking Gateway 3ds payload?

Straight answer: it's probably useful for developers who want to see how Gateway pull off their tricks so they can try and do their own tricks. If you don't know what to do with it, just leave it for someone else.
 
It's not even the whole payload, just the "main" code half-baked made in C (edit: not even C, just shit). Not really useful for understanding everything, though the comments are a little useful I guess.

It's not enough to reproduce the GW code.
 
maybe it could be used to make a more stable laoder of the cfw, but that is far over my head:P
 
It's just a bit of useful information being shared. This is what used to happen, every time someone found a useful bit of information, they shared it, and other people could build on it and share their own findings, rather than every person having to figure out every single bit from scratch. Sounds unfathomably horrible, doesn't it?

As inefficient as it is, i felt more accomplished doing everything myself, lol.. learning experience and all that.. but eh
it just makes me less likely to finish these projects when they are now public knowledge
