when i launch pokemon omga ruby it freezes on the 3ds logo screen i cant use the home button and the game doesn't run

Edit: i know super smash bros needs an update i never figured out how to install the update and play super smash does pokemon omega ruby need and update too?

Same thing for me, bottom screen displays a nintendo logo and the top screen displays the 3DS logo, the game will not load. Alpha Sapphire here.

Perhaps it's a dump or outdated firmware issue. I have no issues on Gateway 2.6 / GW3D 9.2.0-20U. Works flawlessly, online and everything.

oh, I had an SD card with a 7.1 emunand in my 3DS, I installed an SD card with the latest emunand firmware update and Alpha Sapphire loads fine. So, make sure your emunand is updated and it will work as intended.

No, my 3DS is at 4.1.0-6.

You did make a NAND backup, right?
You did make an emuNAND right?
You did update the emuNAND right?

Do all of that and then comeback.

You really need to make a nand backup, just in case. Then make an emunand and update it. There should be a thread around here somewhere that explains how to do that.

that doesnt help me any i backed up my nand already the tutorial i watched to get gateway 3ds working showed how to do that now what?

All current games being released will not run for you unless you use an emunand. Do you know what an emunand allow you to do? Basically you are emulating your NAND from the SD card, so you can update the latest 3DS firmware without updating your original 3DS firmware. There is a tutorial here somewhere.

If you want to play SSB then make sure you use a 4GB SD card or higher, I would go with at least an 8GB SC card in the 3DS SD card slot.

Are you using the gateway launcher 2.6 and have a fully updated emunand? Doesn't sound like you do.

Maybe you shouldn't have rushed into something when you have no idea what you're doing.

i messed everything up im on 6.1.0-12u now that i tried doing it on my own not knowing what to do its w.e it happens...

Edit: i backed up my nand but i have a bad feeling theres nothing i can do should i just update it all the way now?

like i said i messed everything up i cant load the gateway menu anymore gives me an error and says must restart the system
