There's an issue I've been having where I have too many games to play across too many systems so I think I've found a solution for the decision paralysis.

I just started a gaming journal, I'm going to try to have some definitive goals. There are three categories for games in it so far:
- Unfinished games
- Games that I've started and left aside. These have the highest priority on the backlog.
- Sequels/Continuation
- Sequels or games in the same storyline of games i've previously finished, for example Nier Replicant after having finished Nier Automata, these have a medium priority specially since it's stories/gameplay I already know I enjoy
- New games (To me)
- This list contains all the classics that I never played for one reason or another (bioshock infinite for example) and while they're at the last priority slot, they can get bumped up if there are sequels/prequels coming up in release. I'm currently trying to finish DeathStranding before DeathStranding 2
- Replays
- Lowest priority but they're the default for "what to play?" whenever I can't make a quick choice, replays are comfortable games to experience again and they're a guilt-free treat where it doesn't matter if I play for a long time or make progress since i've finished them already.
