I bought a SD Gecko for my Wii awhile back and never used it. Since another family member has my Wii and searching for the Gamecube Adapter is failing very hard. What can I do with a SD Gecko for my Gamecube. Would a modchip be better in the long run?

SD Gecko allows rewritable storage, like for homebrew.

A modchip with correctly tuned laser makes it easier to use. Instead of having to start from SD Media Launcher (next to Action Replay about the only commercial boot disc for unmodified systems), you then can do things like burn homebrew to a disc.

    Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
