Gaming gamecube on wii widescreen settings

ok, does anyone know if having this combo is corret wii settings widescreen > gamecube game in game setting widescreen, i cant quite tell if the aspect is correct, in starfox adventures it seems to really screch things virtialy in widescreen but in other games it seems ok kinda, its more screched the other way(horizontaly)

so whats the best settings,

component cables used aswell

GameCube had no native widescreen support, so the Wii's widescreen setting is ignored. Some game engines implemented it anyway, if one game's widescreen is playing up then it;s probably a bug or incompatibility or weirdness in that particular game.
