Gaming GameCube games?

Hello!

I see that above my thread there are stickies about Essential Wii/Wiiware/Virtual Console games, but there is none about the Essential GameCube games (GC games can be played on a Wii, if I'm not mistaken?)

I was wondering which games for this console are essential? Right now I'm considering Tales of Symphonia and Zelda Wind Waker potentially, but I'm sure there's more!

I might get the Prince of Persia games, I played the first on PC a while back and enjoyed it.
Time Splitters is awesome, I can't believe I forgot about them
Not too much of a Splinter Cell/Metroid fan, and I've already played Gun (was a nice game).

How is Mario Sunshine though? Thx

The best Gc games imo are :

1. Eternal Darkness
2. Sphinx & the cursed Mummy
3. Wind-Waker
4. Baten Kaidos (1 or 2)
5. Metal Gear Solid : Twin Snakes
6. Luigi's Mansion
7. I-Ninja
8. Hunter : The Reckoning
9. Tales of Symphonia

Those are in no particular order, but are all highly rated.

(NOTE: I have not included those titles also released on Wii, Res, Evil 4, Pikmin, Twilight Princess, etc ..)
