Gamecrazy is closing

this doesn't surprise me for the past year or so now a lot of their stores had been closing...they can't compete with Gamestop/EBgames(yes i know they're the same company now)

Steam is the best for games (atm).

And it's on Mac soon, so it opens up a new gaming experience for Mac users.

EDIT: btw, what's your steam id? mine is http://www.steamcommunity.com/id/lelouchvii

What does steam have anything to do with console sales, and console games?
We're just saying it better than console gaming shops and it's considerably cheaper as well.

My local Game Crazy is better than the Gamestops in my town, so this is truly sad news for me

. In the Gamestop I frequent most, they're always trying to talk me into deals that I'm not interested in, while the other one just has bad customer support and are clueless when I ask for a certain game. The Game Crazy I go to at least have employees that are knowledgeable about games, since they always know what game I'm talking about when I ask for it, as well as being cool people to talk with.

This news is very old! This was talked about on yahoo and msn news back in Feb. At the end of March only did the stores start closing. This goes for holywood video as well.

Like blockbuster, it is only a chunk of the stores closing. 500+ stores through out the country.

It's kinda messed up that Gamecrazy is closing down while Gamestop stays open. Going to places like Gamecrazy really showed you what a pathetic rip-off Gamestop is in comparison.
All the gamescrazy stores closed down in my area last year.

hm so am I the only one who's local GameStop is actualy good? Both of the GameStops around here are much better than the GameCrazy.
