Hello everyone.

So I know that you can install games safely from another region (same Brazilian method?)
But what about a game update? For example a JPN game update on a EUR Wii U?

Wii U USB Helper said you have to use your own region, otherwise it won't work, but I wonder if it's true and safe for no bricks, since some VCs are available outside your region Wii U...

I really appreciate the help.

games updates works without any modification ! U can update any content (brazilian game, out of region game, etc...) with the official method (in the WiiU menu)

So if you:

Install a USA game onto a PAL Wii U hard drive
Load Mocha
Load game

If the game needs an update, it's ok to download and install it?

Assuming you mean to ask if you can simply allow the update, yes, that works (as long as you're not blocking the update server using filtered DNS), and nobody's been banned for doing it. However, your download request (at least on regular titles) includes your console ID, so Nintendo could easily match the system to the region if they wanted to.
