ROM Hack Game Trainer/Tutoruals

Are there any good tutoruals out there that tell you how to make game trainers or ROM editors for the nds ROMs? I have a Phat Ds, Dsi, trainer toolkit, a semiworking AR Dsi, AR Ds, and supercard dstwo. I am willing to learn new stuff, and not pay for anything but the games.
