trying to install game says firmware mismatch to low. i got latest atmosphere but same do i need to update the actual firmware too

If you’re going to upgrade your emunand FW you should use Daybreak to do it (vs Choi…which hasn’t been updated in a while and might cause brick issues)

Sysnand should just use Ninty update servers (as long as your Sysnand is clean)

Yes it is safe and recommended way to upgrade System FW as long as your Sysnand doesn’t have any offensive software installed.

Daybreak comes with Atmosphere and should already be in your /switch directory.

wont let me update through settings gives error unable to communicate with server. i have atmosphere latest but can find daybreak on menu has daybreak icon but do i chose -preserve option

U update in sysnand

Just grab the firmware you want to update to from here, extract to sd card and update with daybreak in emunand. No need to update your sysnand if you don't use it or want to keep it at low version.
