I have 4.01 fw console and would like to proceed with CFW and before doing so I would appreciate is someone could help me to understand the following (as I assume I should update to 6.2, or I won't be able to play gamer requiring new fw):
Is it better to use choidujournx or just to update to 7.0 and wait for crack? I understand that choidujournx advantage is that I can download fw to 4.0 1 whenever I want without burning fuzes but I don't think I will need this downgrade?
Also, if I use chodiujournx, does it mean I always have to use autoRCM, or I can turn it off once new fw is installed? I don't like idea of such booting everytime it goes off.
And last one- without updating I can't use microsd in exfat but only fat32. Is there any wy around (no homebrew usage so less chance for corruption).

1) You can update to 6.2.0 with choidujournx and update to 7.0.0 in some weeks when it works with most CFWs.
2) You need autoRCM if you don't want to burn fuses, because nintendo boot loader will burn them.
3) Install 6.2.0 with exFAT update.

So assuming I didn't know this and updated without the exFAT update. Can I reformat my SD card, boot Choi, and then reinstall 6.2 and this time click "with exFAT"?

Correct. Just tap „6.2.0 (exFAT)“ and install the firmware again.
