Hacking Full Brick?

The funny thing is that they don't do it. Or at least they don't check specifically to see if you voided your warranty. Counless people on the boards have sent in their bricks that, were they checked, would obviously be seen as hacked. And nothing happened to them.

The store exchanged it yesterday, so everything is ok now. This time I'll be aware of the new boot2v4

Hi,

I did something awful...i downgraded a new Wii from 4.0E to 3.2E with Wanins cIOS Downgrader 1.2.
Well, on my old wii with boot2v2 it worked fine....but the new Wii won't turn on anymore and I haven't installed Preloader installed, yet. Just the green light comes up....thats it.
I dont think there is anything to do, or is there something to rescue the Wii?

So stupid...everything worked fine on 4.0E, but nooooooo...I had to downgrade.

Seems like there is no way to safe it because you dont got NAND KEYS, Bootmii backup, preloader. Nintendo is your only chance.

yeah i was only halfway of your thread when i made a post then suddenly saw your post that you managed to exchange your wii to the shop. maybe the link will be helpful to others. i hope you will not brick next time.

I do, but I didn't think about the new boot2 in newer Wiis...but now I will ever be aware of that
