    Hi,

I was wondering if its possible (even) to mount usb storage from ftpii.
What i was aiming is to copy over-the-air cISO's to a wbfs partition, without having to making the run's between desktop and wii.

I succeded to connect to a usb storage in fat, however to wbfs..all attempts to mount failed.

Anyone else, tried this...and failed miserably as me? [IMG]

    Thanks everyone.

not really in my opinion because some files are kind of large so why would you want to send it wirelessly when it came be done in minutes via USB?

be nice if you could actually view the file structure off games on the disc, dont think this will have though

so things like hacking the conduit etc and other textures hacks and stuff would be more simpler

I suppose it's possible if ftpii updates to support WBFS.

It would be horrifically slow though. I mean it takes long enough just to copy a 20mb wad over, I can't imagine how long it would take to copy 3-4GB over.

Then again people used that app that did the same thing for PS2's with HDLoader, which took hours and hours, so I guess some people have the patience for it.

It doesn't take hours, I can install a game through LAN to PS2 with 1.9MB/sec, so it's not too slow.

so about half an hour if ive worked it out right.

Sometimes for me that would make sense, for example ive just downloaded fifa, its the only game i will download so its more of a pain to unplug the usb drive from the wii and the power socket, carry it over, plug it into computer and power, wait til it mounts, open wbfs manager. find the file and wait 5 mins til it copies. unmount, unplug, carry, plug.

Whereas if i could just use ftp and leave it copying, to be honest it doesnt matter if it takes 5 hours, its still less hassle as i can do it before i go to work, or while im watching tv or asleep...
