TL;DR: New/updated GBA emulator, based on TempGBA fork with 22%~~ performance boost. Pokemon Unbound works with 50-55 FPS, so fully playable with Frameskip of 1. Most GBA games run 100% speed now.

What is this: Just released FrogGBA - a heavily optimized GBA emulator, a fork of TempGBA. I've updated it with latest libretro-gpsp improvements and added PSP specific optimizations and a few features I missed.

Features include:

- ⚡🔥Improvement: 22% faster performance - Pokémon Unbound battles are silky smooth
- ⚡🆕 Improvement: Fast Forwards speed. We now support up to 3x with frameskip.
- ⚡🆕 Fast forward hotkey (SELECT+R) - Blazing 2x/3x speed for grinding
- 🎨🆕 New feature: Authentic GBA colors - GPSP color correction as well as my personal addition of more washed out enhanced correction for that real GBA look

Perfect for demanding ROM hacks like Pokémon Unbound, Team Rocket Edition, and Radical Red.

Does this emulator have more of a jump in performance in it than a box of frogs?

What are the recommended configurations for Unbound? I tried running it but was still having the same frame rate performance issues

I am running FrogGBA VS TempGBA mod and I am getting better performance out of TempGBA mod. Are there settings I should be adjusting? Which ones?

Testing FrogGBA with Super Mario Advance 2: World. Level Yoshi's Island 2 right at the beginning where you can throw the red shell at all the koopas for a 1up. Frog drops to about 50 FPS where TempGBA mod hardly stutters.

Gradius Galaxies runs faster on TempGBA mod, albeit the game starts to really chug with a few options on screen. FrogGBA only has 1 channel of audio and massive slowdown.

Frame Skip Auto doesn't seem to ever kick in, unless I just cant tell. I can obviously see a difference when I enable manual skip.
