Friend’s switch lite arrived with a dead battery

A friend ordered a switch lite for his sister and it arrived with a dead battery. After charging it up, the console acted just fine.

We downloaded some games while playing with it. The battery went from 100% to 20% in 3 hours with 40% brightness. All this time the console was still downloading games. Should we do more testings before giving it to her or is it fine? The console had no signs of being used at all.
