Homebrew FreeShop "wrong title keys"

Hi, it's been a while since I've been involved in the emu/flash scene. I was around when gbatemp first started. I doubt anyone is still here from back then. The site has come a long way since then.

Anyways, to the question at hand. I have 3 3DS Consoles, 1 Old 3DS, 1 Old 3DSXL, and 1 New 3DSXL. All three are on 11.5.0-38u

All have been soft modded via 3ds.guide and have been working great. Until now...

I took the family on a trip to visit some cousins and the 3DS's were a big hit with the kids. The last day of the trip my Old 3DSXL started giving me the "wrong title key" error in FreeShop. This error happens for every game and doesn't pop up until 97%.

Now, I've tried deleting and reinstalling FreeShop (currently 3.1.4). I've deleted and re-entered the title keys web address. I've even made sure it's the encrypted keys address.

I have a feeling one of the kids got to exploring into the system apps and fiddled with something. I'm just not sure what to do to get it back to normal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

As far as I can tell the FreeShop settings are the same across all three consoles. This makes me think it is something else.

Try manually downloading the title keys file and placing it in sd:/3ds/data/freeshop/keys/

Ok, so I think I figured out a fix for my issue. I was going to use Xiphiidae's idea of manually downloading the keys file, but then I thought "Why not just delete the whole freeshop folder and start fresh?" I did that, deleted the app, reinstalled the app and typed in the keys the web address. Boom, so far it is working. I'll download a few games and see if I encounter the issue some more.

I fixed this issue just by deleting the freeshop folder in /3ds/data/ directory of my SD card. After that, it should reset and then I re-added the url to the title keys back into it. Also, if you are in the old 2.2 version, that freeshop version won't be updated anymore but you can find the 3.1 version somewhere online made by some other person if you want (I recommend it though).
