if anybody has an extra copy or is done with theirs i will paypal you money if i can just borrow it....ill send it back..just need it for 5 minutes...or if you want to sell me a copy thats fine too. also if anyone wants to go 50/50 with me we can split the cost and you can send it to me after you are done. kinda setting myself up to get scammed but oh well.

If you're on 11.0, you won't be able to have a permanent entry point without the cartridge (unless you got VVVVVV before it was taken from the eShop or something). So there wouldn't be much point borrowing it. If you are on less than 11.0 then OoT & Powersaves is probably cheaper.

OoThax still works, but ASLR makes it a pain (30+ attempts till successfully loaded HBL, I heard)

I see auctions ending at $50 Canadian on ebay.ca. I was lucky enough to snag a couple of copies, but the game is ridiculously hard to find now.

Maybe check the "slum/ghetto" areas Gamestop/EBgames for copies? I know my area is pretty shitty and I found Freakyforms Deluxe X2 at my local retailer.

Or try out basehaxx (exploit using ORAS's picture save data).

I remember once when I was a complete noob so long ago I bought a used cubic ninja for 20 dollars after all the Craze like a LOT after all the craze, then I found out I was one version higher so I returned it another location when I was more experienced I went back almost a year later and it WAS STILL THERE THAT SANE ONE! So I got it for 20 CAD again and that's my story of how I got lucky with homebrew lol , now I use it to help all my friends with hacking :D

I'm still kicking myself for not buying a copy of Cubic Ninja when my local Walmart was flooded with them. And I recently saw one at the bargain bin in a Toys R Us. Seriously kicking myself.

I found my copy by chance in JB Hi-Fi whilst searching for a 32GB Micro SD for my N3DS XL (it was in the camera section which kinda makes sense but not really? Especially when they had other cards seperate from those in another section)

Despite not possibly being able to afford it and the fact that for whatever reason JB Hi-Fi wouldn't let be do a lay-by on the game, I just went ahead and bought it anyway. Was around $30 AUD and IMO it was well worth it considering the prices this game will (or has already) skyrocket to. Best decision since getting Cubic Ninja for $24 AUD in EB Games 3 years after its infamy as an exploitable game.

Morale of the story? Even if the online website of your local electronics/game store no longer lists the game as buyable, always keep a lookout next time you visit. Who knows? You might be pleasantly surprised. Also if it's a lower price than normal try to snatch it up as quickly as possible, affordable or no be damned. Just live on cheap food until your next pay-day. It'll be worth it.

Or try out basehaxx (exploit using ORAS's picture save data).
As far as I know, basehaxx exploit itself involves renaming an extra-long Secret Team name, which permits loading arbitrary code. The payload is stored in the picture data, however.

Yeah, $29AUD was the price that JB was selling Freakyforms Deluxe for (back before freakyhax was released), and although they sold out of their online/warehouse stock fairly quickly, there are a few stores that still have them for $29. You are very fortunate to run across it like that though. Do you mind if I ask which JB store?

Im about to get it on ebay for 31, plus 2.45 s&h, I did not catch on to freaky forms weaks ago when the exploit came out, so im forced to attempt to get it for 30dollars, all local gamestops are out, they probably know about it.

Just going to chime in here... For those wanting to do the exploit, I have successfully accomplished the Freakyforms exploit on my New 3DS-XL (11.0.0-33 U) using a Sky3DS+ flashcart to run the game... I had to use v0 of the exploit, not v1.

It took me a while to find the rom, and I don't feel comfortable posting the link here because I don't know the rules, but if I can find it, you can probably find it too...
