Hacking Formatting Emunand without doing anything wrong

Hey guys,

I wanted to change my NNID to my old one (I created a new one on my new SD card where I installed CFW, FBI Installer etc), because I found out, that some savegames like Pkmn XY/ORAS (physical copy) are linked to your NNID and basically wont work on my current NNID.

I just dont want to lose my savefiles (Pkmn Y +800h/MH4U +1000h).

1) How do I formate emunand without deinstall or break anything? Just like normal or do I have to make sth else?
2) Are there other ways to restore savefiles on cartridges? AR Powersave maybe?

Fast and useful replies are very appreciated.

You can use a save manager to back up your saves and then restore them after. Formatting EmuNAND WILL make you lose your games unless you restore an older emunand backup.

JK's Save manager works on pokemon ORAS, I know because I've used it. Not sure about MH4U
