most likely never 3ds and wiiu users have always had to deal with this just going to say 32gb for the switch is nothing you need atleast 200gb
200gb is kind-of a lot. I feel 128 is a nice comfortable amount of space. Has space for games and emunand.

Some game size examples:
Breath of the Wild and Skyrim are roughly 15GB
Octopath Traveler and Kirby Star Allies is roughly 3GB
Stardew Valley is roughly 880MB

Updates and dlc take up a lot of space. 128GB fills up Pretty fast. I have a 256GB that is filled with 85games/roms for retro arch/Lakka.

My take on it is, if you're not actively playing it, it shouldn't be there taking up space. I establish a backlog and uninstall the shit I don't use or need. This is why save managers are life savers.

u dont need one for switch if just for saving space. since the save remain in the internal memory unless u manually delete it.

You can also do the same thing on wii u but its super slow

I was never able to get it to work always get errors
Just need up-to-date tools and to sit the handheld within decent range of the router. The 3DS/2DS have barely passable Wifi chips -- speed and range. (Probably in part because of battery life and longevity)

I've been wondering the same thing though, how to use my remaining SD Card space. Not enough available to hold NSP and install it.

For now I decided to use LayeredFS for the last game I can fit on there -- definitely not interested in mounting XCI's though.

I have tried all that stuff with the latest fbi sitting literal feet from my router and fbi just errors out on me most likely becuase of my extremely slow internet of less than 1mb down

Use a different tool to send the cia. Either way, it works, and your internet speed itself doesn't affect it. It's LAN, not WAN.

If you'd like to get it working can go to PM though, we're heading off topic.

Is it possible? Yes
Will somebody actually create some tool like this? Most likely not - Just use SYS-FTPD if you're that desperate
