Hacking FlatMii and USB HDD

Hi,

Can the FlatMii be used with an external USB HDD or does it required a computer?

And, is Flatmii the only way to launch ISOs from a computer? Can I use another modchip?

As far as I know, you really2 need a computer to send the ISO through the USB cable, using the special program that the FlatMii producers made. Maybe in the near future they would implement something channel or something, but I doubt that as it only acts as something like an intermediary between the DVD drive and the Wii Firmware.
