Hacking Flashed DS not WiFi-compatible with a non-flashed?

Has there been any reports on people not being able to (or at least having problem) play a game through WiFi using a flashed DS and one that’s been left untouched?

I’m asking because it has been brought to my attention that some Swedish webshop who offers to install FlashMe claims that there could be a problem should you want to play with someone who hasn’t flashed their DS.

Some games work some don't. It can also be dependant on the device you use.

Wait, it affects Wifi too? I read it only affected Local games. If it does affect, Wifi I'll be pissed. I got Digimon Story to connect to a few Japanese players, like 5 or 6 ever, but for the most part I keep getting sent back to the lobby when I try connecting to one. If it's because of the Flash...

There should be no problem with WiFi (as long as the device supports it for that particular rom).
