Hacking Firmware update after Softmod!

Still a noob, I went from 4.0 to Softmod 4.0 using bannerbomb, already with cios38_rev14, iospatch 60, startpatch for 4.0, but now that there is a 4.1 out, how do I update? even if its not necessary now later on how do i update? tried using waninkoko 4.1 up as soon i start the update Wii go a black screen. Please any help. Tried to get the answer on the active topics and didnt find it. Thanks

Use Waninkoko 4.1 Firmware Updater (WiFi Internet Required).

OR

Do the official Nintendo Update, but use Trucha Bug Restorer afterwards.


Either way, you will need to re-install Preloader or StartPatch, since it requires different hacks...

or since you're already on 4.0 you can just install 4.1 systemmenu wad

So that mean i can still do the official update and be safe? i was unable to use the waninkoko update 4.0 or 4.1 just go to a black screen, tried from root of sd and from hbc.....same with the wadmanager 1.5 for some reason im not able to install.........will try to format the sd and try again.... thanks for the help
