"Groups" feature was added to the All Software menu.

You can now create groups of software to help organize your software titles.
Making groups for different game genres, developers, or whatever you’d like to organize by may make it easier to find the application you want.

Up to 100 groups can be created with a max of 200 titles per group.

The button to proceed to the "All Software" screen is displayed only when there are 13 or more software title icons on the system.
For more information, see How to Create Groups of Software.

Bluetooth® Audio volume behavior was changed.

You can now adjust the volume of Bluetooth audio devices using either the Nintendo Switch™ console or through volume control buttons on the Bluetooth audio device.

The Bluetooth audio device must support AVRCP profiles for these changes to work.

The volume displayed on the console will reflect the Bluetooth audio volume when using the device’s control buttons.
The maximum volume output for some Bluetooth audio devices has been increased.

When first connecting a device, volume will be reduced to avoid sudden loudness.
For more information, see How to Pair and Manage Bluetooth Audio Devices.

I just realize the typo on the title of the thread :rofl2:

I'm new to the Switch Hacking scene. Do Hekate and Atmosphère self-update via Internet or do I need to manually install them?

Thanks. BTW, do you know if games will not start if we don't have the latest firmware (I use physical games)?
Yes an no. If we're talkin bout base game with no updates. It doesn't have to be the latest, it just has to be the same firmware as the sdk used for the game. Now if we're talkin with updates, again yes and no. It all depends on what sdk the game and update were built with

It just depends on the game in general, really. For example Pokémon Legends: Arceus digital uses master key 10 and runs fine on 11.0.0, but the cartridge copy for some reason uses master key 12, so you need to be on 13.0.0 or later to play it.

It's totally possible to patch games to a lower master key, as long as the game uses an older sdk, but you can't patch legit physical copies like that. There's no way around it and you need to be on a high enough firmware version.

It's not really a big deal these days, get on 13.2.1 and you'll be good for a while. It takes a while after a new master key is added before games really start using it, there's plenty of time for Atmosphere to update and properly support the newer firmwares by the time you might be forced to update.

The "Groups" feature is not polished and is clunky af, you can't set the "all software" screen to just show the group folders, Instead you always have to push "L" to pull up the group menu, I was thinking I could always have the folders visible instead of it listing them all, but that's not the case...

So close Nintendo, you almost had something!

Yeah, I was expecting that folders would show up on the main All Apps screen, and that apps in folders would disappear from the list and only show up inside their folder. Which would have been ideal for my purposes, but with the way it actually works there's just no point for me.

btw MissionControl has a prerelease for 14.0.0/AMS1.3.0

Sorry, I don't download things that auto download on their own like that XD

I'll only download it if ya link me the page on github. ;3

For the record, it's possible there could be bugs and stuff with the dev release, but I can at least confirm things work fine with Wii U Pro Controller (will pair and function just fine)
