Firewatch getting a release on Nintendo Switch

IMG_7344.JPG

Adding to the list of games getting a Nintendo Switch port is the mystery-adventure game, Firewatch. Originally released in 2016, the game became a critical success and was praised for its narrative. Developer Campo Santo has stated that they plan to optimize the game for the Nintendo Switch, and will add "a couple of surprises just for the Switch version". The Switch version of the game is scheduled for release sometime this spring.

Next: Journey from ps3 and ps4
Next: Crash bandicoot from ps1 will be ported.

I wouldnt be surprised if tetris makes its way to the switch. I meant the 8 bit game. From 80s. You know? Erm.

Did you expect thrill and excitment from a walking simulator?
I consider it a visual novel, tbh.

Firewatch is nothing but eye candy with a boring story. I was interested in the beginning of the game, thinking it was going to branch off into interesting directions according to my choices, but the game just drones on and on and never reaches a satisfying conclusion. It was one of those games I tried to play hoping for it to get interesting but it never did.

I would sooner recommend Amnesia, 999, or Steins' Gate than Firewatch for anyone interested in mystery and visual novels. For a game which claims to be an "award winning narrative", god it sucks.

This game is awesome! I need to finish it. I was playing it in "faux VR" on my PC. Really gives you that lost in the woods feeling!
hard to get lost when the game is just a giant hallway, would have been nice to actually go where you wanted
