Well, looks like we finally get some justice on our Wii. It's coming out in a few days, and from current reviews, seems like it lives up to its Fire Emblem name! Hopefully it's not too gimmicky...

Well...it's not 3rd party and it's definitely not gimicky(whatever that means). Does just seem like a GC game from what I've seen. Nothing wrong with that I guess because it's a sequel. And I'm very excited just because it's Fire Emblem and it's a sequel.

Direct sequel to Path of Radiance in fact, I need to get started on my perfect run to import into Radiant Dawn. Sothe evidently becomes really useful in Radiant Dawn, go figure.

Yup yup, so instead of average or crap stats for Ike's crew when they join up, you can have your awesome party from the GC game...with bonuses.
Each stat you capped grants a bonus to that stat as well as each A support you have along with a few other goodies evidently.

I've always thought tactic-based RPGs were meant for the handheld.

After playing the Gamecube one, my thoughts were still the same.
Seriously, squares and HP numbers TURN-BASED on my frikkin' TEEVEE?!

The only turned-based I'll allow on my teevee is worms.
IMO, the Fire Emblem shone on the GBA.
Gamecube and upcoming Wii version just looks shinier.

I'd rather be playing something more... exciting.
If there's no Wi-Fi this game's on my blacklist.

Well you won't be getting this, because there is no online. A lot of Japanese RPG's on consoles are turned based and they have been for awhile, and many people buy them. And I think some of the best turn-based strategy games were on the consoles first. Also, the GBA FE's were a step down from previous games which you played on a TV(not teevee).

Damn, I deleted my save off my memory card a while back for games I haven't even been playing. I think I knew about it too and must have forgotten. But I guess it just makes the game easier though. Unless there are some other features from importing saves...
