Gaming Fire Emblem Problem

I was playing Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn but when i hit chapter 4 i couldnt load the screen. I got as far as the villains going to some glowing vase then my screen goes black.
Anyone have a similar problem or know how to fix this?

    They just announced winter storm warning and already closing schools for tomorrow. I swear when I was young they never canceled school, I remember walking in foot high snow to/from school many times. (like Christmas Story movie)
