Homebrew FBI Network issues?

I'm on B9S with my system on 11.6
FBI Version 2.4.13
Luma 9.0-2a840f2

Trying to get all my cfw/homebrew-related stuff up to date, but can't update Luma from the old updater. Was told to install a new updater. Problems:
1. I'm stuck with a temporary Mac as my PC is out for repair, so no memory management and my micro-SD certainly isn't formatted for Mac use.
2. I receive these issues when updating FBI and trying remote install respectively:
2A. Failed to check for update
Result code: 0xD8A0A03C
Level: Permanent (27)
Summary: Invalid State (5)
Module: HTTP (40)
Desc: Failed to verify TLS certificate (60)

2B: Waiting for connection...
IP: 10.0.0.134
Port: 5000

I've done FBI installations and updates on this network before, so not sure what's going on here. My Multi-Updater updates are also failing, with the exception of GM9 on latest commit and CTRXplorer latest commit. Cannot update Multi-Updater, Themely, or Luma that way due to error d8a0a03c

I'm not familiar with Mac but cant you use a file transfer client to move the files from the computer over wifi

I'm not really familiar with Mac either, this is temporary, but would I not also need a program on my 3DS listening for transfer requests over a specific port (which I would be unable to install until I solve this)?

I think its called fttp on the 3ds and I use FileZilla on my pc. You need both programs

Yeah but no way to install fttp at this time unless i fix the fbi issue

Well I didn't know that was a thing. I am a bit iffy about installing anything on this mac, since it's technically not mine though. So last resort.

yes you would there are ftp clients available

Open fbi and scroll down to titledb, open it and download one of the file transfer tools

That I'm fine with, it's the ftp app on the mac I'm not sure of. Again, not my mac. Technically belongs to my job.

Maybe not the best idea. Just a guess here but if you have an android phone could you put the sd card from your 3ds in your phone and download the files? Sorry man I’m reaching here lol. Or maybe a file transfer from your android phone...
