Hacking Extracting card2 save from 3ds file

Hello.

I done ****ed up by updating to 11.1 on my gw emunand without backing up first so I finally have a reason to switch over to luma.
I've been following this guide to move my saves over: https://gbatemp.net/threads/importing-gateway-saves-to-cia-games.425743/

However since the select button doesn't work there's no way for me to load up card2 save games and move the sav file from it.

Is there another way to do this?

Downgrade to 11.0 using sysupdater (you can get the cias from 3DNUS). Make a backup of your emuNAND first just in case.
